Outstanding and inspirational students from Wilberforce College were recognised at a Celebration of Achievement evening.
Held at Middleton Hall at the University of Hull, the evening saw fantastic performances from our NAPA students, talks from the University of Hull’s Vice Chancellor David Petley and Pro-Vice Chancellor Becky Huxley-Binns, as well as an array of awards presented by staff, partners and sponsors.
The celebratory evening paid tribute to excellence, hard work and determination, recognising those who had achieved beyond expectation and often despite adversity.
Heart-felt testimonials to the winning students told of resilience, dedication and commitment, but also recognised the vital role of collaboration and support. An immensely proud Principal, Colin Peaks commented: “Wilberforce is more than just a College; it’s a community. We celebrate our amazing students but also the staff, parents and families whose support and guidance has been invaluable.”
A special thank you to everyone that contributed to making the evening such a success – the 200+ students, staff and guests in attendance, the University of Hull, NAPA and our sponsors Principal Resourcing, the Matthew Good Foundation and City Health Care Partnership.
