Open Events EXPLAINED
Open Evenings
Our open evenings are held throughout the year and are a chance for you to come to see us, have a look at our facilities, the courses we offer and chat to the staff and students at Wilberforce. The entire site and all the facilities are open and available for you to look around.
These evenings are the perfect opportunity to find out anything you want to know and there are lots of people available to answer any questions you may have.
We hold interviews throughout the evening so after exploring the college and discussing course options, students can then have a short interview to secure their place with us.
Open Saturdays
Open Saturdays focus on student interviews. Some areas of the college are open but the event is mainly to provide information about courses and to answer questions before applicants then have their interview.
Interviews are an informal discussion about studying at Wilberforce, we look at predicted grades, course options and career aims to enable us to recommend the most suitable course options to help you reach your goals.
Parents' Information Evenings
Talks and presentations especially aimed at parents of prospective students including a question and answer session with our Senior Management Team.
Consultation Evenings
These take place twice during the academic year. Parents are encouraged to attend these evenings with students to discuss their son/daughter’s progress at college with teaching staff.
