We value being part of our local community, and we encourage our staff and students to get involved in community work and initiatives.

From gardening with our students to providing a venue to accessible, affordable community theatre, enriching the lives of the elderly or creating a woodland area for our students of the future, community projects at Wilberforce give us the chance to give something back and pay something forward.

Our Health & Social Care students meet regularly with our friends at HICA.
Children from a local primary school helped us plant trees in our new woodland area

It’s important to us to live up to our values and to be a beacon in the local community for providing more than just an education.  We rent out space for dance and exercise classes in the evenings and members of the public are welcome to book in for discounted treatments performed by our students at our hair and beauty salons.

Our green campus includes fruit trees, a vegetable garden, a polytunnel for salad crops, LED lighting, a wind turbine, alongside the woodland area.

What’s on?
