10th March | 17:30 - 18:30

Throughout this hour long event you will be able to watch a presentation about the courses you most want to study, You’ll have the opportunity to take part in a LIVE Q&A with teachers of the subject and hear from students who take the course.

WHY STUDY HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE?

The Health and Social Care sector is exciting and worthwhile, working with those who are vulnerable, helping them become increasingly independent, having dignity and choice in their lives. So if you want to help and support people, care for their needs and build trusting relationships then this course is for you.

WHY STUDY CHILDREN'S PLAY, LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT?

If you are seeking a career working with babies and children, this course will give you the basic knowledge and understanding of childcare and education. You will work in small teams and plan events and activities, carry out observations and support the promotion of children’s development. These interactive sessions, which take place on a weekly basis, are unique to Wilberforce College.

WHY STUDY T LEVELS - HEALTH?

New for September 2021, T-Levels will offer you a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of at least 315 hours (approximately 45 days). They will provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship. When you complete a T-Level study programme, you will be able to choose between moving into a skilled occupation or further study, for example, a higher or degree level apprenticeship, or higher-level technical study, including higher education.
