Located in the Visual Arts Department this is a bright and airy, open space, dedicated to displaying all forms of students’ creative artwork. Some particular exhibitions are opened to the public, with work on sale.
The gym is available for students to use around their timetable. It is only £5 for a year’s membership, you will be fully inducted and a personal training programme will be created for you.
You’ll find the helpful technicians who staff our IT Helpdesk within our drop-in IT Suite. Here you can find answers to all your IT questions such as accessing your emails from home, printing problems or logging onto your college account. You can visit the Helpdesk in person during term time between 8:30am and 4:00pm.
Right at the heart of the College campus you’ll find our light, spacious Atrium, designed as a meeting place and social space for all students. It’s where everything happens at lunch and break times such as charity fundraising events, student fairs and competitions. It’s also where our Media Wall is located, keeping everyone informed of what’s going on in College!
Student Services are based in Reception and they’re here to help you if you have an issue affecting your studies, your finances or your life. Student Services can also give you information about student transport, financial help, the college counsellors, absence procedures, references, exam certificates, plus a whole host of other issues that may crop up during your time at college.
Our coffee bar, Refresh opens at 8.30am. As well as a selection of speciality teas and coffees, hot chocolates and homemade cakes, Refresh serves up a range of sandwiches and hot snacks to suit all tastes.
Our main canteen, Refuel, serves a range of hot foods. The lunch menu changes every week, but it often features choices such as fish and chips, pasta, pizza, curries and jacket potatoes. Refuel opens at 8:15am, so you can get your breakfast here too. If you fancy a lighter option, we also have a salad bar which serves a range of paninis, sandwiches and various salads.
The Wilberforce Room is a light airy space equipped with computers for independent study. It is also the base for Equality and Diversity displays and activities, which change on a regular basis.
