Our campus hosts two cafes / refreshment areas to keep you going with barista style coffee, supreme hot chocolates, pastries and sandwiches throughout the day.
Work Anytime, Anywhere
With free WiFi across our campus, you can access free Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite Programmes from your device (smartphone, laptop or tablet). Microsoft Teams is how we communicate with our students. Resources for your lessons will be uploaded via Teams, you will create assessments via Teams as well as take part in screen casting in classrooms.
Study and Social Areas
Right at the heart of the college campus you will find our light and spacious Atrium which is the central hub of the college, in addition to our two University-style cafes .
When you need to focus and study, you can use our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) which is fully equipped with high spec laptops and computers. We have various other quiet study areas, such as drop-in IT suites and the Study Centre.
If you are specifically wanting a solitary space to study, or focus on your mindfulness, then the Calm Room is available to book via speaking with our Mental Health Lead and Student Support Officer Helen Robinson (hmr@wilberforce.ac.uk).
During the summer, there are plenty of outdoor spaces on campus for you to sit outdoors whilst soaking up the sun, as well as a large undercover area which can be used whatever the weather.
Where to Eat
Refuel
The main café on site, located near the front of the building serves breakfast from 8.00am-11.00am where students can get anything from porridge, fruit pots, pastries to bacon and sausage sandwiches. Lunch is served from 11.15am – 1.30pm offering a fresh salad bar each day, selection of toasted paninis plus a daily choice of hot meals. All of the food is freshly prepared onsite and clearly labelled for any allergies.
Refresh
Located towards the rear of the campus, Refresh offers daily pastries, hot and cold beverages from our barista style café, along with light bites and healthy snacks to keep you going throughout the day. Service is from 8.30am-1.30pm daily.
