TEMPORARY BUS ROUTE DISRUPTION ⚠️
The college has been informed of a road closure to Queen Street, Withernsea, due to a burst water main; it is expected to be closed until at least Friday 6 September 2024.
This means the W1 Ellie Rose service from Withernsea will have a route disruption, with students intending to board on the route between Withernsea and Hollym needing to find their own way to and from, either Withernsea or Patrington during this disruption. It should not affect students boarding at the Waxholme Road or Memorial Avenue stops.
Clearly the re-routing will impact the timing of pick-ups in Patrington and then onwards through to college. It is estimated that the bus may be delayed by approximately 20 minutes on its arrival into Patrington.

AMAZING APPRENTICESHIPS ⭐️
University isn’t the only destination after gaining your final results at college. In fact at Wilberforce we are proud to consistently have one of the highest levels of progression into apprenticeship, higher education and sustainable employment. 🤩
Lily Lingwood who studied A Level Textiles and BTEC Diploma in Graphic Design has secured an exciting apprenticeship with @umbercreative for Graphic Design to kick-start her dream career within the industry! 💻
Another student success is BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering student Logan Mclaren who is looking forward to putting his new skills to use and starting his Engineering apprenticeship with @cranswickplc at the end of the month! ⚙️
Studying T Level Health at Wilberforce has enabled Chelsea Smith to secure an Adult Nursing Apprenticeship with @chcphull and begin her journey within her dream career! 💉
With a career goal of becoming an Accountant, it’s no surprise that Luke Edgecumbe, who studied A Level Business, Maths and Economics, is extremely excited to start his apprenticeship with @smailes.goldie in September! 💷
