On a truly memorable day for the Wilberforce Sixth Form College community, Principal Colin Peaks, Student Services Manager Jo Brownlee alongside Chair of the College Corporation, Pat Mould and long-serving Governor Diana Hoskins, were honoured guests at the King’s Education and Skills Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
Held in the magnificent palace gardens, the event was a celebration of those who have made significant contributions to the development of Education, Training and Skills across the United Kingdom. The garden party brought together educators, leaders and changemakers from across the country in recognition of their ongoing dedication to student success and opportunity.
Representing Wilberforce Sixth Form College, Principal Colin Peaks and the college team proudly stood among peers from further education colleges, training providers and schools, showcasing the essential role that the college plays in transforming lives through education in Hull and the wider region.
