We work in partnership with CHCP (City Health Care Parthership) who assist in delivering clinical skills to our students, this partnership supports the development of person-centred care skills and reinforce the component skills of nursing and the care sector.

These include essential employability skills including:

Communication, teamwork and the importance of reflective evaluation and research within the health sector.

CHCP teach our students how to assist the adult nursing team with clinical tasks such as supporting individuals to meet activities of daily living and how to assist with skin integrity assessments and the care and treatment of skin conditions. They demonstrate and teach how to carry out a range of therapeutic techniques to support allied health professionals, assist with the therapy support process and provide advice to help individuals develop and improve their health and/or develop or maintain skills for daily living.
