In this industry led course you will learn all the essential barbering and hairdressing skills to excel in this exciting industry
All taught in our state of the art professional salons by highly experienced staff members as well as high class industry professional who are invited to our centre through the year for additionality courses and workshops. You well also learn generic transferable skills units such as health and safety, reception, consultation and promote and sell.
What will you learn?
You will learn essential communication skills to help build your confidence before entering the shop floor alongside a wealth of specific hairdressing skills of cuts, colours, styling and perming. You will learn to work as part of a team as well as focusing on your own goals and achievements.

Entry Requirements
4 GCSE’s at Grades 3-9 ideally including Maths and English
A passion for Hair and maturity.

Experiences
There will be opportunities to visit Hair and Beauty trade shows, Salons and Spas and external professional training academies. You have an inspiration week where Hair industry professionals are invited into the salons to run inspiring careers talks and workshops, in the past we have had additionality such as wig making, hair extension and pigmentation specialist.

Outcomes
After successful completion of this course over 1 year you will hold a Level 2 Diploma in barbering.
