INDUSTRY INSIGHT 🎵💭
Today a group of our Music Performance & Production students had a fantastic Q&A session with local breakout star @fionaleeofficial who worked with the students as an industry guest speaker and primary research source as they work towards their Final Major Project. 🤩
Fiona-Lee is a singer-songwriter from Howden, East Yorkshire who writes honest, guitar-driven indie songs and is known for powerful vocals and personal storytelling. She signed to Gravity/EMI Records in 2024 with her debut single Mother and is also listed with Capitol Records UK.
She has performed on the @bbcintroducing stage at Glastonbury, headlined at Humber Street Sesh and recorded a session at the iconic Maida Vale Studios. Last year she toured with @cmatbaby and is set this year to support @themaccabees
Students gained a real insight into the current music industry and left inspired about their own future opportunities. ⭐️

DIGITAL CHALLENGE
Our Digital students took part in an exciting social media challenge in partnership with the University of Hull and Hull KR.
Introduced to industry-level campaign planning our students worked in teams to develop their own social media campaigns for a sports team of their choice. Bringing their ideas to life through creative, audience-focused content planning and storyboard development.
