Recently, students swapped tutorials for something even more impactful.
ReNew`s Mariana Suarez, alongside the Refresh team, delivered powerful sessions on the effects of drugs and alcohol. ๐ป๐ซ
Students took part in specialist training, interactive discussions and got to try a dry bar. Showing them that alcohol-free alternatives are available and trying them in safe and inclusive space. ๐ค
These sessions allowed the students to learn beyond the classroom and empower them with real-life knowledge. ๐

TASTE OF UNIVERSITY: ๐ฌ Our A-level Biology students had an incredible opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom at the University of Hull last week!
They stepped into a real undergraduate lab to isolate viable chloroplasts and investigate the Hill reaction โ a key process in photosynthesis. ๐ฑ๐ก
Led by the brilliant Prof. Mark Lorch and supported by the amazing team at Hull BAMS, students got hands-on with university-level equipment and experienced the excitement of scientific discovery at a whole new level.
