TREES OF HOPE π³ποΈ
Our Student Services Team are there to support all students throughout their College life and also have many links with external services, such as the @humberwellbeinghub This September we are supporting the first-ever #FestivalofHope β a bold, creative and compassionate response to self-harm and suicide, taking place across the Humber region in line with World Suicide Prevention Day. To mark this important day of awareness, yesterday (10/9) four Trees of Hope were placed in the Atrium, inviting students and staff to add their own hearts sharing positive messages, thoughts, or quotes.π€
Helen, Student Support Officer and Mental Health Lead, shared that "Itβs important that we allow for the College to be an open space where we can raise awareness and make sure our students feel comfortable and empowered to talk about such a sensitive subject." π
