Overview

The UAL Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production is designed for students who are passionate about music and aspire to build a career in the music industry. This course offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers various aspects of music performance, production techniques, and industry knowledge.

Who is the course aimed at?

Entry Requirements & Other Info
  • Entry Requirements Arrow down

    You must have a minimum of four GCSEs 9-4 or equivalent, including English Language or Literature and Maths.

    You must have previous performance experience of either playing a musical instrument, singing, rapping or music production. You may be asked to audition or show examples of your work.

    Students will have opportunities to engage in various experiences, such as:

    · Performing in live events and showcases

    · Collaborating with peers on music projects

    · Attending workshops and masterclasses with industry professionals

    · Gaining hands-on experience with recording and production equipment

  • Progression Arrow down

    Upon completion of this course, students can progress to higher education courses such as a Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Production, or related fields. Alternatively, they can pursue apprenticeships or direct employment in the music industry. Several of our former students have gone on to work as professional performers, session musicians, producers and composers.

    Graduates of this course will have developed a solid foundation in music performance and production.
