CORONATION HERO: πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ We are extremely proud of former Public Services student Oliver Thompson, who not only had the call up to parade in the Kings Coronation procession this bank holiday πŸ‘‘, but who has been featured in the national press for his quick reactions to a flag bearer who collapsed and fainted during the event. Oliver said β€œ I saw out the corner of my eye that he wasn’t right, I asked if he was ok and the next minute, I heard his bearskin hat crash to the ground, so I rushed over to help"

Oliver popped into the college today to give his gratitude to teaching staff Claire and Dave for all their help in guiding him to a career in the Navy. He said β€œ If it wasn’t for the guidance and support of my teachers to follow my dream of a career in the Navy, I certainly wouldn’t have had the opportunity to serve my country at such a huge event, they really pushed me and gave me the focus I needed to apply for the 10 week course which I passed out in, in March of this year" Well done Oliver, we can’t wait to follow your journey in the forces.
