The Media T Level has been designed with leading buisnesses and employers in the media industry and gives you a thorough understanding of concepts and theories of the media industry.

You will have the opportunity to solve real life problems in the media industry, gain valuable experience of learning from the experts, by working side by side with those in the media industry.

Who is the course aimed at?

This course is for you if you want a successful career in one of the many fields of Media, Broadcast and Production. It is an ideal stepping stone to further study at university or higher level apprenticeships in subjects such as sound engineering, media and marketing, video editing or tv, media or film production. 

Entry Requirements & Other Info
  • Entry Requirements Arrow down

    You must have a minimum of four GCSE grades 9-4, including Maths and English with at least a grade 4 in English Language. A Media-related GCSE is preferrable but not a requirement, however you should have an interest in the media sector and be prepared to discuss this further at interview.

    This course will give you the opportunity to solve real life problems in the media industry. It will also provide you with valuable experience of learning from the experts through working side by side with those in the media industry on your industry placement so that you have the chance to learn what this career is like in the real world while you continue your studies. It will also help you to develop your specialist knowledge and skills of the Media Industry, so that you can align yourself to the correct skills needed for a variety of contexts. .

    The Media, Broadcast and Production T level will give you the skills and knowledge needed to flourish in this exciting sector so that you can be part of the future digital workforce.  Your T Level will be worth UCAS points – a T Level Distinction* is worth the same as 3 A Levels at A* – and will be recognised by universities and other education providers so you can choose to continue studying if you wish.
